Her Royal Highness is affiliated with the charity since joining the Order of St John – St John Ambulance’s parent organisation – as Grand President in 2004 and heads the work of St John’s County Presidents who provide welfare, fundraising and public relations support for St John members in their county. The Countess spent time on the evening meeting the finalists and key supporters of the charity.
Myleene said: “It’s such an honour to have hosted this wonderful event that shines a light on an extraordinary group of people. I’m in awe of their achievements, whether that’s saving a life or working tirelessly to make our nation safer. Having used first aid myself, I know first-hand just how important these skills are and encourage everyone to learn them.”
